Formal Style (Special Occasion)

Hello Wonderful People,
I have to say that I never write reviews but today, well simply, I have to.
I have never walked into a salon that I immediately felt like I was part of the family. Picture this, you drive through miserable winter weather to get to the stylist, you pull up and walk through ice to get to the front door, you open the door and immediately you are greeted by the warm and fabulous girls at the front reception. moving along the incredibly effervescent Chloe swoops in on you with a brilliant smile as she offers me dry boot covers on one hand while taking my coat to hang with the other hand. Chloe then lets me know that Lori, the owner and my stylist will be with me shortly. She then offers me an orange juice, water, or a perrier as she is escorting me to my seat. I am feeling like the greatest guest at a royal event as she sits me down and with a brilliant smile introduces me to Lori and rushes off to get my perrier.
I then have the pleasure of chatting with Lori and was instantly put to ease with her professionalism and charming personality as she helped me to get over my underlying apprehension at getting my long hair cut into a much shorter look. I felt that I was in the best hands ever with Lori cutting my hair. she could identify with having cut her own long hair and how I must be feeling. I knew instinctively that I had come to the right place. Chloe came back with my perrier and took me over to wash my hair. We laughed and chatted with the other stylist and customers around us. I loved how comfortable I felt and loved how much fun I was having.
Chloe took me back to my seat with Lori and my hair cutting event began. Lori was so amazing with me and Chloe was working beside us and chatting with us all the way through my cut. When the cut was done, Chloe took over and curled my hair. I asked Lori if maybe the back should be a little shorter. She advised me to wait a few weeks before I made that decision. She said " we can always cut more off but we cannot grow it back, so it is better to sit with it and then come back. She also said that she would cut it more then if I wanted and would not charge me for the adjustment. I was seriously blown away by her kind consideration towards my new haircut.
I cannot praise this salon and the fantastic people who work there. I feel like each person harmonizes with the other into the most perfectly orchestrated team.
I do not know how you managed this Lori, but your people seem hand picked to blend into the most brilliant atmosphere you have created at IVY AND MANE SALON & SPA. Congratulations to a job well. done, all of you.
P.S. you do not know this yet but I have spoken with my sister a few minutes ago and she is going to be coming from Burlington to get her hair cut with you.
